MyBinge ("we", "our", "us") is a personal media player app for Android phones and Android TV. This policy explains what information we process and why.
1) Information We Collect
- Account email (if you sign in): used to create and identify your account. Sign-in is handled by Supabase using a one-time code sent to your email (we do not manage passwords for this flow).
- App data you create: profile selection, saved links, and app preferences.
- Media access: video files you choose for local library browsing and playback.
2) How We Use Information
- Provide core app functionality (library browsing and playback).
- Save your preferences and app state.
- Authenticate you and keep your saved preferences and synced lists (such as YouTube favorites) tied to your account.
3) Media and File Access
MyBinge requests media/video permissions only to scan selected storage locations, build your personal library, and play selected files. We do not claim ownership of user content.
4) Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. When you sign in, Supabase processes your email and one-time sign-in codes on our behalf; see the Supabase privacy policy. Some optional features may use other third-party services or APIs (for example metadata or video-related integrations), subject to their own terms.
5) Data Security
We use reasonable safeguards for data handling. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure.
6) Data Retention
Data is retained only as needed for app functionality and legal obligations.
7) Your Choices
- Stop using the app at any time.
- Revoke permissions from Android settings.
- Request account/data deletion through the contact below.
8) Children's Privacy
MyBinge is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9) Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
